Since the latter part of 1940 the Proctor Family have been overwhelmed with the Business of Landscape Gardening.

From Great Uncles, Grandfathers and fathers, the idea of Designing and re-creating Gardens have been in the blood of all fore fathers of the Proctors.

So, in 1979 the young Martin Proctor decided the time was right to establish Proctor-Landscapes.

After finishing a City & Guilds Qualification at Shipley College of Horticulture Proctor-Landscapes was Founded. Like all new businesses, there is a desire to succeed, and for the last past 26 years the business has gone from strength to strength.

Proctor-Landscapes now consists of 2 specialist groups, One working directly with Building the gardens (hard landscaping), the other group specialising in the garden-design process (light landscaping e.g. planting, maintenance, etc..).
